The Laws of Chronicles of Ashenfall
There is a pantheon of gods that folks believe once walked upon the soil of the world, but that was before the sundering. There have been no confirmed sightings or interactions with a god in the mortal realm since then, as far as we know.
Magic pervades the world and low-level magic is commonplace. Runic magic persists from the time before the sundering and folks have been able to channel various elements to different ends.
Cosmology
The origins of the world are of little consequence to most as the Sundering fundamentally changed the landscape of the entire world. The very laws that seemed to govern the way the world works seem to have been re-written with new magics, peoples, creatures, and entities suddenly coming into existence.
Initial Active Setting
The initial scale of our active storytelling space focuses on the ruins and outpost of Mysthaven, and the adventures that happen within and around this space. Mysthaven exists in a region of the world populated by several cultures that have risen to power in the wake of the Sundering.
