Distant

From the distant peaks of mountains so far that no one can reach them, he watches. As people are born, wander, and die, he watches. For the rise and fall of each city, for each forest, he watches. 

But, for all the people he sees and the lives he observes, nothing can change the fact that he is forever alone in the distant mountains.
