11. In A Second

Everything.
Nothing.
An endless universe
folding in on itself.

In that same moment,
And infant offers its first breath.

It all remains in a complete stillness
in a great sigh.

Love;
ignites in a blazing fire
while there is another
that dims
and crumbles to ash.

All beginnings.
All endings.
Everything in a single second.
But in sense of universal time,
all this, in nothing.

A necessity,
marking out a clear line.

Eternity.
Held in every measure of time.
Nothing impossible
for this humble second
as it quickly,
slowly,
ticks by.

Mortal perspective
changes it all.
Everything and Nothing;
for us,
it's gone too quick.
