In 85 AF, calamity struck the region again. A massive beast broke out of the sea floor along the coast and caused terrible destruction in its wake. The beast, which seemed to be a strange hybrid between a squid and a crab, was a terrifying marvel to behold.
During its reign, anything the Beast killed along the coast was transformed into a strange, almost jellyfish-skinned version of itself. These Jellies shambled inland to wreck further havoc on the people.
