The Masked Emperor
The Masked Emperor is the leader of the Lotus Empire. Little is known about this mysterious figure except that they are immortal and have continuously led the Empire since before the Sundering. The Emperor eponomously wears a mask and their true identity is unknown to all but their closest advisors.
Many theories abound as to who this individual could be. Many Lotus citizens believe that the Emperor is an aspect of Forsyth who personally came down to lead the Empire through these dire times. Outsiders are usually not so convinced, some even thinking the Emperor is nothing more than a national mythos. Regardless, the real truth behind who, or even what, the Masked Emperor is will likely be a secret that gets carried to the grave.
